Urban Reforestation Initiative
Restoring Green Balance in Urban Landscapes
GreenScape is a comprehensive urban reforestation project aimed at increasing green cover in densely populated city areas. The project involves the identification of suitable urban spaces—such as parks, roadside areas, and abandoned lots—for planting native tree species. Community engagement, environmental education, and collaboration with local authorities form key pillars of the initiative. The first phase focuses on three metro cities, with a target of planting 50,000 trees in 18 months.
The project also integrates a digital tracking system to monitor tree health and survival rate, ensuring long-term sustainability and impact.
