Industry Academia Panel Discussion on “Green Hydrogen: Energy Security of India Technology Innovation & Policy Intervention"

India is heavily dependent on fossil fuels, and with its ambitious climate goals under the Paris Agreement, a transition to cleaner energy sources is essential. Green hydrogen, produced using renewable energy, offers a solution to this challenge by enabling sectors like transportation, manufacturing, and power generation to reduce their carbon footprints.

This event is crucial in advancing discussions on:

  • Technological advancements in hydrogen production, storage, and distribution.
  • Policy frameworks that can support industry-wide adoption.
  • Industry challenges and opportunities, especially in high-carbon sectors like steel, cement, and transportation.

India's aspirations to become a global leader in green hydrogen production require strategic collaboration across sectors. This event offers a platform to explore how India can not only meet domestic energy needs but also become a leading exporter of green hydrogen.

Objectives:

  1. Understanding the Role of Green Hydrogen in India’s Energy Security.
  2. Exploring Technological Innovations for Green Hydrogen Production and Storage.
  3. Policy Interventions to Accelerate Green Hydrogen Adoption.
  4. Opportunities and Challenges for Industry Adoption.
  5. Economic and Environmental Impact of Green Hydrogen.
  6. Strategies for Global Competitiveness and Collaboration.
